We went for a teh tarik next to the Standard Chartered building on Beach Street. The setting there was really a walk down memory lane. This is one of the reasons why I've always loved Penang, the historic setting is a rare sight anyway else in Malaysia. If only I brought my top hat along  muahahaha..

Penang Shooting Trip Part I - Masjid Terapung Tanjung Bunga

The inaugral shooting trip to Penang was an ad hoc plan. I applied annual leave for the friday (23/09/05), took the 730pm bus from Puduraya on thursday to Penang and arrived at Butterworth at 1130pm.
The floating masjid of Tanjung Bunga is a sight not to be missed in Penang. We had a great time photographing the boats that I did not realized not many pics of the masjid were taken..

Thinking of selling my precious O2 XDA IIs because I just can't get the new Nikon D50 out of my head. 
Don't know if I'm ready for this but reviews claimed it to be an excellent entry level DSLR... There is so much more to learn I guess.....

Cheap Foldable iPod Speaker

I found this speaker while browsing e-bay malaysia a few days ago. For me, it was just too good to be true because it costed 1/10 of my Altec Lansing inMotion Speaker I bought last year,
Rating??? This baby rocks I would say. Eventhough the material is of lower quality as compared to inMotion, the sound it produces is comparable. Obviously, it's not as loud as a boombox so you DJ wannabee might want to reconsider  .
One thing that freaked me out the moment I tested it yesterday evening was that it uses 4 x AAA batteries and not AA. I only have 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries and I was furious at myself because I read the advert wrong  .
Luckily  , there is an inlet for 6V DC on this unit. And the best thing is that a standard nokia charger gives an output of 5.3V and it fits perfectly to this device muahahahaha..... problem solved 
Pros:
1. Cheap
2. "Apple" white
3. Acceptable sound quality
Cons:
1. No charging for iPod
2. Low density plastic[url]
